Intercol offers several types of polyolefin hot melt adhesives for several purposes in mainly (food) packaging industries.
Polyolefins may also be known as metallocene hot melt adhesives.
Officialy these range of hotmelts are based on the polymer group metallocene catalyzed polyolefins. Against standard EVA hot melts, these thermoplastic polymer based hot melts n adhesives, these polymers offer improved processability, flexibility, and higher temperature stability of the adhesive. These polyolefin metallocene hot melt adhesives (HMA) have an extended temperature resistance, for deepfreeze and hotfill (or export) and good adhesion to low surface substrates, such as PP, PE, PET and other laminated foils such as metpol (metallised polyester foil, carton, multilayers)
