Potato starch adhesives
For manufacturing multi-ply paper bags, Intercol designed a range high performance adhesives based upon new biobased raw materials such as modified potato starch. A remarkable difference with existing adhesives on the market is the stability of the viscosity during storage and transport. Intercol adhesives are tested and developed to gives more flexibility to our customer's production process.
Our potato starch based cold water soluble adhesives. Are used for seaming, cross pasting and bottoming within the application of multi-ply paper bags. We have also developed biobased grades for tube winding and modern high speed bottom-bag prodution.
Our potato starch-polymer powder adhesives are designed to have a splash free production at high machine speeds. Our glues are very clean running and efficient in usage per product, including a perfect runability
High wet tack, quick setting, non splashing, easy water soluable potato starch based adhesives from Intercol.
Intercol had developed in this range as well adhesive for paper bags with PE coatings. It's a hybrid with food approved additives with starch polymer dispersion Some of the thes starches can be mixed with our dispersion adhesives.
