Our packaging hot melt adhesives are made for use at high and low ambient surrounding temperatures: Intercol hotmelts, Futura metallocene hotmelts, low melting point adhesives and thermal stable, water white, Futura 50 Polyolefine-series hotmelt glues.
Premium hotmelts
Premium hotmelts are based on a either premium white EVA polymer or polyolefine/metallocene polyers. range obtained through "metallocene catalyst polymerisation". The polyolefine polymer has many unique properties like an high heat stability, low molecular weight and a narrow melting point.
The use of this polyolefine hot melt technology in premium hotmelts results in:
- high heat stability, non coaling
- no char forming
- viscosity stable products, ensure stable production and machine settings
- white, transparant, colour and during heating colour stability
- stable and contineous machineability
- good flowing performance through adhesisve systems, superior jetting, no stringing
- higher production line speeds due to shorter available compression times
- reduced usage of hot melt
- superior bonding
- more fibre tear of metallocene hot melt adhesives compared to EVA based products
- improved adhesion to hard to bond substrates like PE, PS, PET, foams and PP
