wristband - self adhesive coatings
We use slot die coaters for coating. In our current application we coat approx. 50 gsm. The machine speed is approx. 50 metres per minute.
The product is a wristband. The adhesive patch is applied to the surface of the same band but on opposite side. The band is laser printed and hence
the adhesive is applied on laser printed surface.
The substrate absorbs water freely. Intercol offers adhesives for printed bands. We can provide grades including technical datasheets, mentioning Peel, SAFT and shear. There are also water resistant (e.g. swimming pool) grades available.
Intercol offers adhesives which provide a good bond and can retain some of the bond when the product is soaked in water.
